Québec Artist D4KING Makes Debut With “YOKAMAMA” Single

Québec-based recording artist D4KING has unveiled his very first track, “YOKAMAMA,” marking the arrival of an upcoming EP this spring. The instrumental, meticulously crafted by Lendcey Fineus and Hugo Germain, delivers a captivating blend of bass, guitars, keyboards, and vocal effects, infused with Afrobeat and R&B influences while remaining firmly rooted in modernity.

“YOKAMAMA” draws inspiration from universal themes such as love, trust, and the challenges of a relationship. The song captures the emotions of a man trying to reassure his partner amid the uncertainties brought on by fame, social pressures, and outside temptations. It conveys tenderness, vulnerability, and a determination to preserve the authenticity of their love—resonating with those who value trust and commitment.

Mixed and mastered by Hugo Germain (Yugold) under the N-Vi Records label, the track is now available on all digital streaming platforms, distributed by Bohemaa Communication / Symphonic Canada.

As part of the Syli d’Or competition, D4KING will be performing live on March 11 at Club Balattou in Montreal. For more information, click here.
