The Weeknd: The Acephalous Collection
Canada’s The Weeknd just dropped his genesis NFT collection. The collection sold for over 2 million USD worth of Ethereum. The drop was named The Acephalous Collection and consisted of eight NFTS, ranging from static art, audio-visual drops and one unreleased song.
The audio part of the collection, which was the unreleased single, was auctioned off for $490,000 USD worth of ETH.

Ill Bill: Silk Road
New York rapper and record producer Ill Bill has already dropped a few of his own NFT’s. His album God is an Atheist is for sale on Rarible and the rare digital single “Silk Road” was released on GhostMarket on the Phantasma blockchain.
According to CoinMarketCap: “GhostMarket is the only cross-chain NFT marketplace in the world designed by the NFT community for the fans of NFT.” The winner of Ill Bill’s auction will own an NFT that can access unlockable downloads and a full-quality WAV file of the original master recording of the Lord Goat-assisted ‘Silk Road,’ the full collection of front and back cover album art, along with exclusive digital stickers.

Trading Cards
DJ Premier has a trading card now available as an NFT, so does RZA. However their images have been used without their permission and the cards are selling fast. This is a perfect case that could be used in the future for a possible lawsuit. Regardless, I collected mine.

Connie Digital: Staking
One of the OG’s and consistent sellers of the audio NFT space, Connie Digital, just dropped his single ‘Staking” which was produced by MAiWORLD. The single has a set of 3 tokens which can be used as access of utility, the owners of these NFTs will also receive private access to a library of exclusive content.

MassQline Makes History
This week Desi hip-hop made history. India’s veteran rapper who goes by the stage name MassQline just dropped his genesis NFT. “Jeena” is the first Hindi rap song to be minted as an NFT.
Lyrically, Jeena captures the tale of a relationship, starting from romance and excitement, passing through phases of vulnerability, trust and companionship, but ultimately ending in a catastrophe because of the lovers’ juvenile ways. Musically, Jeena is a hybrid trap song in which there’s melody, groove and a catchy vibe. Rap, singing and drop keep switching in the course of time giving the track a dynamic momentum. Lupe Fiasco is dropping his first NFT series on Origin Protocols launch pad on April 12th. The series is called Food & Liquor.
