“Wizard Guns” Deepens the I Hate Mondays Series by Sayzee

TLDR: In week four of I Hate Mondays, Sayzee returns with “Wizard Guns,” a split between frantic chaos and darker pressure as his Monday drops build toward an album.

Sayzee has been treating Mondays like a personal rival since launching his weekly I Hate Mondays rollout, and week four might be the most complex entry yet. “Wizard Guns” is self-produced, self-contained, and built like a two-act short: the first half sprints with rule-breaking energy, then the second half drops underground, heavier, and meaner.

So far, the I Hate Mondays series has included the self-produced “Ringworm,” the politically charged “Alex Was Right,” and the Sibbs Roc-produced “God Hand,” each released without rollout or announcement as part of a weekly Monday drop schedule that sees Sayzee writing, producing, and packaging new material in real time.

Like the prior drops, “Wizard Guns” is expected to appear on the upcoming I Hate Mondays album, which may or may not include additional material beyond the weekly Monday releases.

“So here’s ‘Wizard Guns,’ another I Hate Mondays drop — fully produced by Sayzee himself, because apparently waiting on other people is for Tuesdays. The first half? Absolute chaos. No structure, no safety rails, just raw energy moving like it forgot rules were a thing. If you’re looking for comfort, that’s adorable. Then it flips. Second half drags you somewhere underground and grimey — darker drums, heavier mood, less flash, more pressure. Same confidence, just dipped in concrete. The chaos tightens up and starts staring back at you. Mondays try their best. He tries less — and somehow does more.”

Four weeks in, the pattern is simple: every Monday brings a new track, with video releases expected soon in support of the project. You can stream “Wizard Guns” now on Bandcamp.
