Bring Ya Eh Game has announced the return of their annual food drive. Going down for the fifth straight year, BYEG has announced events in three different Canadian cities with the objective of collecting food for those in need.
The 5th Annual Hip Hop Food Drive will take place in Toronto (Thursday, Dec. 12), Ottawa (Friday, Dec. 13) and Montréal (Saturday, Dec. 14). The lineup for each event will be centred around local talent, with Toronto rapper Dan-e-o appearing as a special guest for both the Ottawa and Montréal shows. Additionally, Bring Ya Eh Game’s Ya Favourite Lightskin (aka Dynamic) will take up hosting duties for all three events.
The events will take place inside Black Swan Tavern in Toronto in support of Eastview Neighbourhood Centre, inside Café Dekcuf in Ottawa in support of The Door and inside Local Legend in Montréal in support of Depot Community Food Centre. Cover is $5 with a non-perishable donation and $10 without.
Some of the artists taking part in the events include Yasmin Soul, Bugatti Bonsu, M.O. Littles, HalfSizeGiants, KingCon, Frank Blak, Rita Carter, Ape Mob, Loe Pesci (and friends, and a ton more. You can find the full lineups on the posters below.
