Waycool vocalist Josh Dillon delivered a new single this weekend and we haven’t been able to get over it since it dropped – we’re sure you won’t be able to either. The Brampton singer starts off the fall with an emotional and impactful new release titled, “LOVER.” Speaking of his love and adoration of a female interest, Josh links up with fellow Waycool producer Martin Sole to match strong production with his haunting croons.
Dillon has come off a strong summer with strong releases, including the dynamic “SOS” & “RIVER.” But this new release is particularly vital to his artistic identity, because it proves to fans that he’s able to take his music to a vulnerable place which many aren’t able to approach. When he sings, “I’m not a fighter, you know I’m a lover/But if I’m fighting it’s because I love her/Baby you don’t know what you mean to me/I swear you don’t know what you mean to me,” we can’t help but go to those depths as well.
