Trap Lore Ross: The truth about Kanye’s album (DONDA release solved)

After diving into “The Suspicious Death of Donda West” just last week, Trap Lore Ross continues his coverage of the highly mysterious DONDA studio album by Kanye West.

After diving into “The Suspicious Death of Donda West” just last week, Trap Lore Ross continues his coverage of the highly mysterious DONDA campaign presented by Kanye West.

Now, the UK-based journalist is posting his theory about the elusive studio album, including the idea that the DONDA will not be released in the expected, traditional manner through digital streaming platforms. Instead, he’s suggesting that the album was effectively “released” the moment Kanye began sharing the music publicly—whether it be through a live, quirky stadium presentation, or an Apple Music listening session.

Others believe the project is going to be available for streaming later this week… Ross believes you’ll never hear it on Apple Music, Spotify, or any other major streaming platform at your own leisure. Instead, if you want to hear it, you’ll need to go right to the source: Kanye West. That could mean live performances, or it could be through other mediums that Kanye introduces down the road. Either way, the idea that Kanye might never submit it to DSPs would actually be a very Kanye thing to do.

It’s lightly reminiscent to the RZA approach to releasing/selling the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, back in 2015.

The video is roughly 10 minutes long and provides some interesting info, and theories about the DONDA campaign.
