P.T. & Kholebeatz: Pimpton teams up with Norway’s Kholebeatz for new 8-track album

Regina recording artist Pimpton recently dropped off his latest album, P.T. & Kholebeatz. Coming in collaboration with Norwegian-producer Kholebeatz, the 8-track project was released just two months after its conception, and is Pimpton’s first project to hit digital streaming platforms since premiering TUNNELZ here on HipHopCanada in 2020.

“P.T. & Kholebeatz was a long time coming,” says Pimpton, explaining, that he and Kholebeatz “have been working together since 2012.”

Their two complementary styles are nothing to take lightly. While Kholebeatz productions seduce listeners with his unique blend of Scandinavian culture and Southern American hip-hop, Pimpton’s intricate wordplay takes on an array of topics, ranging from the struggles of balancing his newfound fame and responsibilities, hustling to achieve his objectives, and partying with cannabis while letting all his worries fade away. Pimpton bombards listeners with clever punchlines and catchy hooks, laid down in his one-of-a-kind poetic bounciness and distinct rhythmic poise.

P.T. & Kholebeatz features contributions from American rapper Lil Wyte and fellow Canadian rappers Miss Behaven, Prasunuh, and the late CJE member Killah Ralph. Each track on the album also features cuts by DJ Disspare, lending a traditional hip-hop mixtape aesthetic to the project.

P.T. & Kholebeatz is a no-skip banger that will effortlessly stand the test of time. You can find it now on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms via Gorilla Clan Records.
