Ottawa’s Swisha T previews new album with “No Days Off” single & video

Ottawa rapper Swisha T has released a new single and video ahead of his sophomore album, Road to Redemption. “No Days Off,” shot and edited by James Harkness, is Swisha T’s first official drop of 2021 and available now on YouTube.

Swisha T is set to drop his “greatest piece of work to date,” Road to Redemption, on July 15th. The title for his upcoming album comes from Swisha T’s acknowledgment that he has “let [his] fans down” with a lack of consistency over the years and is aiming to redeem himself with this highly anticipated new album launch.

Although Road to Redemption is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a wide variety of compositional elements that showcase Swisha T’s songwriting talent; from the memorable melodic progression and rhythmic beat that provide the perfect platform for the seamlessly synchronized lyricism of “WhosPoppin,” the ominous brass riff and stylistically layering vocals that add a depth and creative flare to “Level Up,” to the catchy hook and dynamic diversity delivered by the contrast between rapped verses and a sung chorus in “Long Way.”

Swisha T has one album and twenty-seven singles/EPs in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of “Sober” (with 2Scratch and Pressa), amassing almost 13 million streams, “NO LOVE” (with 2Scratch), gathering over 4.6 million streams, and “Fallen Soul” (with 2Scratch), with over three million 500K streams.

With more than 500K regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Swisha T has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.

“No Days Off” is HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day. You can find the song on Spotify and various other digital streaming platforms via Left Lane Music Group. You can also find the song on our official Spotify playlist, Canadian Fresh.
