Toronto’s three-headed rap monster, Swamp Thing (consisting of Timbuktu, Chokeules, and Savilion), have a ritual of delivering dark, b-movie inspired, heavy duty thunderclaps every Halloween. Their newest release titled, Noise Machine, marks the eleventh consecutive year of Halloween releases.
Noise Machine is the follow-up to last year’s release, World War Swamp. The new record was produced by Toronto-based beatmaker LRYBRDBTZ and was tracked and recorded at Timbuktu’s isolated cabin in northern Ontario, where the trio gathered over the summer of 2022 to create the new album.
The record features turntable cuts by DJ iRATE, along with an all-star lineup of guest collaborators, including Wordburglar, Ghettosocks, More Or Les, Pip Skid, and Jesse Dangerously.
