Nickelodeon To Murder: How the hit single “Watch me (Whip / Nae Nae)” ruined Silentó’s life
In 2015, newcomer Silentó had one of the biggest hits of the year with his Bolo Da Producer-powered record, “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae).” By February 1, 2021, he had been charged with malice murder and felony murder, among other charges in the shooting and death of his cousin.
