Nickelodeon To Murder: How the hit single “Watch me (Whip / Nae Nae)” ruined Silentó’s life

In 2015, newcomer Silentó had one of the biggest hits of the year with his Bolo Da Producer-powered record, “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae).” By February 1, 2021, he had been charged with malice murder and felony murder, among other charges in the shooting and death of his cousin. YouTuber helloyassine looks at how the hit single would end up ruining Silentó’s life. He is currently awaiting trial.
