Back in June, the good people at Montréal-based media firm Montreality featured Yung Lean in their popular online interview series.

“I’m happy to inspire young cats and new people, when I came on the scene I was 16, I was super inspired by people, I was inspired by Main Attrakionz, SpaceGhostPurpp, Three 6 Mafia.” – Yung Lean

Yung Lean is a 23-year-old Swedish recording artist, songwriter and producer who made his first big impact in 2013 with the release of his viral hit, “Ginseng Strip 2002.”

More recently, Lean is promoting his new collab with Thaiboy Digital, “First Class,” which has been streamed over 740K times on Spotify.

In the interview with Montreality, Lean touches on a variety of subjects including life at 86, his impact and creativity, psychedelics, the future, fashion and more.

“I’m happy to inspire young cats and new people, when I came on the scene I was 16, I was super inspired by people, I was inspired by Main Attrakionz, SpaceGhostPurpp, Three 6 Mafia. I’m happy I get to inspire because I’ve been inspired by so many good people before me. I don’t think I’m underrated, no. I don’t think I’m an underdog, I’m not even in my prime yet.”
