With two projects already in the bag for 2019, Scarborough’s own Jupiter Jaxs is already gearing up for his next one.
After dropping his 9-track project Syla in August, and the Jupan EP in early October, Jaxs has released the first single off his next project scheduled for early 2020.
The AudioGibbs-produced “Trippin'” features Canadian lyricist Sayzee, who just released his YFRWN5 mixtape a few days ago.

We asked Jaxs about working with Sayzee, and how that connection came to be:
“Ruffpup, a friend of mine, introduced me to Sayzee to be honest. I was doing my music thing, and Sayzee been in the rap scene and he heard a few of my songs from Ruffpup, I believe. He rocked with my sound and we became cool after that. I still haven’t met Sayzee in person but off my music alone and the respect he got for my boy Ruff, he started supporting me and saying ‘yo, let’s get a song done! So I shipped over ‘Trippin” and a week and change later he sent the vocals. The rest is history.”
