Juice WRLD’s The Pre-Party Teases New Music with Young Thug

In a bittersweet continuation of his legacy, Juice WRLD returns with his posthumous EP, The Pre-Party, released on September 8, 2024. The two-track project, under Grade A Productions and Interscope Records, features a guest appearance from the ever-versatile Young Thug and sets the stage for what’s to come in Juice WRLD’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, The Party Never Ends.

The EP leads off with “World Tour (Aquafina),” a track that’s already captured the attention of fans, with the video racking up over 1.1 million views since its release on September 9. Produced by DJ Relentt, the song fuses Juice WRLD’s signature emotive melodies with a more upbeat, almost celebratory vibe—offering a glimpse into a world where Juice is still actively shaping the future of hip-hop. The accompanying visuals add a dreamlike quality to the project, as Juice’s presence looms large through archival footage and symbolic imagery.

Young Thug’s feature on the second track adds a layer of complexity, pairing two icons who have mastered the art of bending genres. The chemistry between their verses feels organic, making this brief project a must-listen for both die-hard Juice fans and new listeners awaiting his next chapter.

As The Pre-Party teases the full album The Party Never Ends, Juice WRLD’s ability to resonate with fans from beyond speaks to the enduring power of his art. Watch the Steve Cannon and Cnote-directed video for “World Tour (Aquafina)” below:
