Gucci Mane releases touching tribute with “Letter to Takeoff”
The death of Takeoff has hit the music community, and, since his passing, several of his fellow rappers and artistic contemporaries have founds ways to pay tribute. Yesterday, Gucci Mane made his feelings on the loss clear with his new song and video, “Letter to Takeoff.” The video for the emotional Zaytoven-produced tribute features footage from Takeoff’s funeral, and footage of Gucci Mane and Takeoff performing together. During the song, Gucci also pays tribute to other deceased rappers including the recently killed PnB Rock, Young Dolph, XXXTENTACION and fellow Atlanta artist, Shawty Lo.
