16 Christmas hip-hop songs as recommended by Google

“Top 10” lists and such are everywhere this time of year, and Google is no exception. The list of 16 songs that they feel best define the the search query “Christmas Hip-Hop Songs” isn’t bad by any stretch, but it’s missing some gems. For example, it’s hard not to include the OutKast classic, “Player’s Ball (Original Christmas Mix). The original version was featured on a LaFace Records Christmas compilation and the slightly altered album version became the highest charting single off the duo’s debut, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

Google’s lists includes artists from multiple generations and styles, with top billing going to The Wallabee Champ, Tony Starks aka Ghostface Killah and his Shawn Wigs-produced “Ghostface X-Mas” which dropped in 2008. The song was featured on GFK’s compilation, GhostDeini The Great. Check out the track below, along with the rest of the records on Google’s “Christmas Hip-Hop Songs” list.
