Dyson Headphones Are Back… Why Do These Exist?

YouTuber Marques Brownlee uploaded a new video yesterday providing a review of the Dyson OnTrac headphones. Last year, Brownlee dropped a scathing review of the Dyson Zone Air-Purifying headphones, and now he’s back with a look at their latest audio gear, the Dyson OnTrac.

He dubbed the Zone headphones as “the single dumbest product” he’s ever reviewed, so a more positive take wouldn’t be difficult to achieve. Brownlee is transparent in the video’s description, clarifying that the headphones were “provided by Dyson for review.” While one might question if this influenced his assessment, he appears to offer a genuine perspective on the product.

“Dyson already made the ridiculous air filter headphones. Now they’re back” – Marques Brownlee

In fact, he even poses the question, “why do these exist?” towards the end of the clip, driving home his skepticism.

Known primarily for their high-end vacuum cleaners, Dyson actually has a ton of other types of products including hair care products, lighting and flooring products, air purifiers and humidifiers, and more. They event launched a prototype for a car at one point.

The new headphones, starting at $699.99 USD, come in several styles including including the CNC Black Nickel, Ceramic Cinnabar, CNC Copper, and CNC Aluminum.

Dyson headphones are available now on the Dyson website, DysonCanada.ca.
