Vancouver, BC-native Boslen has officially announced the track listing and release date to his upcoming debut album, Dusk To Dawn. The album is expected to run at 12-tracks in length and will be executively produced by justsayin. It will feature appearances from legendary Vancouver group Rascalz, as well as Vory, Tyla Yaweh, Dro Kenji, and budding Toronto star, Charmaine, who was enlisted for the most recent release off project, “Quartz.”
Boslen’s previous project release was his 2019 EP, Black Lotus, which included guest appearances from Kelland, Nani Beats, and NXSTY. Black Lotus has managed to accumulate well over two million global Spotify streams to date.
“It has been a long time coming,” said Boslen during a recent interview with Unclear Magazine.
“We originally started this project last summer before COVID under a different name. But once COVID hit, it really gave us the opportunity to take a step back to push ourselves sonically beyond our comfort zones.”
“This project blends vulnerability and self-empowerment in the most extreme ways together. It’s difficult for me to explain, but I think you’ll know what I mean when you hear the project. Pop, alternative hip-hop, rock, and even R&B are all genres I explore on this project. This is truly my best work to date, and I have never felt more proud of a body of work…”
Dusk To Dawn is set to drop on August 24th, 2021. You can check out the full track listing reveal below as well as the video for “Quartz” which has already been viewed over 30K times since its June 29, 2021 premiere.
