Fly Away Love: Pimpton drops self-directed video for Sid & Juanra-produced single

Regina mainstay Pimpton is back with a brand new Sid and Juanra-produced single, “Fly Away Love,” along with an accompanying video.

According to Pimpton, “Fly Away Love” was penned as a dedication to couples who endure the hardships of long-distance relationships, much like he and his partner. The song speaks to couples anticipating the big step of moving in together and sharing a home, while the visuals play with the concept of creating a mutual space through technology, in order to bridge the physical gaps created by long-distance dating.

Pimpton describes feeling an eagerness that seemingly holds one “hostage” in their ability to exercise patience, while still anxiously anticipating some of the more romantic benefits of moving in together and sharing a physical space. The self-directed video was filmed and edited in collaboration with Regina-based RoyalZProduction.

You can find “Fly Away Love” on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms via Gorilla Clan Records.
