Telsa Says No to Bitcoin
Elon Musk says BTC transactions are bad for the environment and he will no longer accept Bitcoin for tesla purchases. However, he said he will not be selling his BTC and will wait until BTC finds a more environmental solution. Musk said he will be looking for other crypto alternatives with safer environmental effects for future payments for Tesla. Unfortunately, people listen to Elon Musk like he’s some sort of prophet and react to the FOMO and FUD from Elon Musk’s tweets. We need to follow the market, study the utility cases and so on for our crypto predictions. We should not be following the hype words from one man. After all, this is a decentralized space, and we are all Satoshi Nakamoto!

DJ 113 NFT
DJ 113, legendary rap DJ from Bogota, Colombia prepares for his genesis #AudioNFT drop through the BEATiFY NFT store. The drop will be live on June 1st and will be the first Colombian DJ to mint an NFT. This historic NFT is an instrumental album. When purchased the collector will unlock files to an unreleased beat, 50/50 rights to use the beat for their projects and a 1 hour, intimate, live DJ set via Zoom for the collector and their invited friends. The drop will be live on June 1st and we will share the link with HHC when that URL is available.

“Barrio to the Blockchain” is a fundraiser taking place on GoFundMe for fiat donations and on Giveth and Panvala for Crypto donations.
Guerrilla Music was founded by Sourav Deb, and Sky Hayward with the intention of doing things differently. We wanted to create a “for the artist, by the artist” type of company. Our goal from the beginning has been to empower artists of all disciplines.
Currently, we’re working on raising money for artists and musicians in Accra, Ghana. Our goal is to put 100% of the proceeds into buying laptops and internet cards for people who have powerful voices with no resources. As part of the package, we’ll give the recipients our Blockchain Empowerment Program for free, so they can learn about cryptocurrency, how to set up wallets, open stores and mint their own NFTs
We’d like to start in Accra with 10 laptops or iPads and a year of prepaid internet cards. Our next stop will be Mumbai, India and we’ll continue from there making it a regularly occurring program.
Our goal is to raise enough for 10 computers by September 2021. Please help us give 10 artists the tools to be self sufficient.

What is a wallet and what is an exchange wallet?
A crypto wallet is where you keep your crypto assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Song tokens, GRR tokens, etc. An exchange wallet is where you hold the same tokens but can trade and convert tokens for a smaller fee.
The difference between Metamask and Binance.
A personal wallet means you own your keys (passphrase). You can swap tokens and buy tokens with this wallet. The fee’s will be higher, however, since you pay for the gas in full. A personal wallet is like Metamask. Metamask works as a google chrome extension and can be used via the google browser or the Brave Browser (we recommend Brave). Personal wallets like Metamask usually function with one blockchain, for example, Metamask is an ETHEREAL wallet and can only hold and trade ETH and ERC tokens built on the ETH blockchain. Metamask also works as a passport that lets you log onto several blockchain related sites, like platforms and VR worlds.
The Binance wallet is a trading wallet where you do not own your keys (passphrase), however the trades cost less and you can hold or swap tokens from multiple blockchains with this one wallet. This makes it more convenient for traders.
A hard wallet is another form of a personal wallet. This wallet is one where you also own your keys (passphrase) but it’s not an app or a chrome extension. This wallet holds multiple crypto assets from multiple blockchains. It’s convenient to use as a saving account. This wallet is literally a physical wallet, usually in the form of a USB. For the safest wallet to hold your crypto assets in, hard wallets are the best bet. I recommend something like ‘ledger nano’ and we also advise you to buy this directly from their site, so you don’t get a hacked version of the hard wallet.
What “owning your keys” means.
Owning your keys is like owning the password to your computer or keys to your house. Not owning your keys means that you are trusting your landlord to hold the keys to your house and unlock the door for you. This is good for convenience but terrible for privacy and autonomy.
What your “12 word passphrase” means.
Your 12 word passphrase (sometimes more words) is the ultimate key to your wallet. If you lose the passphrase, you lose access to your wallet. In crypto, when you have a private wallet there is no customer service and there are zero ways to retrieve the lost passphrase. We suggest that you write down your passphrase on 2 separate pieces of paper. Keep one at home and the other one somewhere else, in case there’s a fire or a flood etc. Do not write down the passphrase on your computer for safety reasons.

How to get CAD into my ETH wallet and vice versa?
As a Canadian, you can get a Shakepay wallet (or use another service). You verify your banking address and follow all the steps. Once you complete the set up, you will be able to e-transfer CAD to your ETH or BTC wallet in Shakepay. You will also be able to cash out your ETH and BTC as CAD into your bank account, instantly.
