Amazon Music reveals Jeezy as upcoming performer for 50 & Forever livestreams celebrating hip-hop’s 50th anniversary

50 & Forever continues its celebration of hip-hop with a new City Sessions livestream from Atlanta featuring rap star Jeezy Throughout August, 50 & Forever continues to host all new episodes of Rotation Roundtable, Group Thread, and Breakthrough Live.

Today, Amazon Music shares the next 50 & Forever special-edition City Sessions livestream. On August 3, multi-platinum selling, Grammy-nominated artist Jeezy will hit the stage for a special performance from Tabernacle in Atlanta.

Sponsored by M&M’S®, fans can watch the performance live on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch at 4:00 p.m. PDT/7:00 p.m. EDT. Fans will also be able to attend the performance in-person in Atlanta at Tabernacle. Tickets are available now and can be purchased for $10.

All proceeds will be donated to Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages a generation of at-risk youth to become effective leaders through programs that foster independence and respect for others.

Amazon Music will close out its “50 & Forever” City Sessions series at the Rooftop at Pier 17 on August 10.

The Amazon Music channel on Twitch will continue to host 50 & Forever content every week leading up to hip-hop’s 50th anniversary on August 11. Fans can expect special Group Thread discussions every Monday featuring hip-hop luminaries, hosted by journalist and producer Speedy Morman; Breakthrough Live performances each Tuesday from the next generation of hip-hop talent; and special episodes of Rotation Roundtable, a hybrid Twitch livestream and 60-minute podcast hosted by Morman, Nyla Symone, Gabe P, and Rob Markman, every Wednesday. Fans can tune-in weekly to each series starting at 6:00 p.m. PDT/ 9:00 p.m. EDT.
