On July 22, Snoop Dogg and DMX will square off on Verzuz in the Battle of the Dogs.
If you’re unfamiliar with Verzuz, you’ve missed out on a lot of epic moments betwen icons from all different corners of the hip-hop community. Basically, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland curate a Instagram Live event and choose two different artists to face off in two 10-song rounds during Verzuz’s three-hour sessions.
The list of battles includes: The-Dream vs. Sean Garrett, Jagged Edge vs. 112, French Montana vs. Tory Lanez, Mannie Fresh vs. Scott Storch, Boi-1da vs. Hit-Boy, Ne-Yo vs. Johntá Austin, Fabolous vs. Jadakiss, Babyface vs. Teddy Riley (Parts 1 & 2), Ludacris vs. Nelly, T-Pain vs. Lil Jon, Fred Hammond vs. Kirk Franklin, Alicia Keys vs. John Legend, Beenie Man vs. Bounty Killer, Swizz Beatz vs. Timbaland, RZA vs. DJ Premier, and Erykah Badu vs. Jill Scott.
