Trap Lore Ross: The history of hip-hop & police brutality

Trap Lore Ross: Rappers vs. The Cops - A Brief History

Trap Lore Ross recently released a must see in-depth look at the history between hip-hop and police brutality.

The UK based YouTuber provides one of the most in-depth summaries you’ll find of the way rap artists have spoken out against police brutality since the birth of hip-hop, and how they’ve have remained steadfast in upholding the “fuck the police” mantra.

As Ross explains in his intro: “I felt that the best thing that I could possibly do is speak out in a way that’s personal to me and what I do. And so I decided to open my ears and listen, put my research skills to good use, and try and learn as much as I could about how police brutality relates to the genre of music that I love the most.”
