Popular Toronto recording artist Tona has announced a new single produced by Burd & Keyz. “L.E.S. (Lower East Side)” will hit all streaming platforms on Friday, July 21. You can pre-save or pre-add it now via District Entertainment.
Tona initially announced the release on social media last week by posting the Sammy Passion-designed artwork, and took the opportunity to comment on the collaboration in the caption:
“I’ve known @burdxkeyz for a minute now but this year we got to build properly on some music shit finally. We dropping a movie come July 21st so please do me a solid and presave it for me in my bio. It says the 14th but we movin to the 21st. Start this summer off correctly. Have a bless long weekend. ⚡️⚡️🔋”
For now, check out Tona’s 18-track GE20 project which dropped in Oct. 2022 with features from Jimmy Yitty, Rochester aka Juice, Kardinal Offishall, Xentury, Shad, and Drezus. “The premise of the album is mainly about optimistic thoughts during the most pessimistic scenarios addressing how they can affect your health.”
