Scarborough up-and-comer Scotty Outty recently dropped some fresh visuals in support of his catchy Sk Beats-produced single, “Scotty Bop (Broke Boy).”
“Scotty mixes hip-hop’s message of hardship and perseverance with a familiar, yet progressive sound.”
Directed by RodZilla for Pro League Films, the new video sees the first generation Jamaican-Canadian rapper in his bag, flanked by his squad over a crisp white backdrop. The vibe compliments the tone of the track perfectly.
“His forward-thinking ear for instrumental production gives his unique flow the ability to tell the story of growing up amongst the vibrant, energetic, but often troubled immigrant communities in the City of Toronto.”
“Broke Boy” is HipHopCanada’s Song of he the Day. You can find the single on various digital streaming outlets including Apple Music and Spotify.
And if you like that bop you should definitely check out the Lil 6-assisted “Force” which Scotty dropped back in March.
