Earlier this month, acclaimed Canadian rapper Sayzee returned with the first project of his 2024 campaign.
Powered by producer Nugz, the Nugz Presents Dystopian Ninja EP is a featureless release where Sayzee’s lyrical prowess is showcased to its fullest extent.
It’s his first project since dropping the latest instalment of his YFRWN (Your Favorite Rappers Worst Nightmare) series this past October.
Along with the the new EP, Sayzee has also released three unrelated singles including collaborations with Toronto rappers D-Sisive (“Jonovision“) and Tona (“Sticky Tape,” produced by Skindeep, and “Closure,” produced by Tone Mason). Both tracks with Tona are expected to appear on the collaborative album, The Sun Is Out, expected later this year. Meanwhile, the D-Sisive-assisted “Jonovision” can be found on Sayzee’s Dec. 2023 mixtape, Somebody Tell Alchemist We Did A Tape 3!
And that’s not even everything. Earlier today, Sayzee released a new track–also unrelated to the Dystopian Ninja EP–the “Save Room” freestyle which can be streamed on Bandcamp and YouTube. “Just some weirdo shit, cause I love Resident Evil like that…,” he explained.
You can find Nugz Presents Dystopian Ninja on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms.
