Nyiam recounts transition from ball player to flawless emcee with Joel Garden-produced “Big Leagues”

Mississauga’s own Nyiam leaves you looking for more with his new 0:52 second Joel Garden-produced gem, “Big Leagues.” Peep the new video shot by Quincy Schmidt. Luckily “Big Leagues” is just one of six new songs Nyiam dropped in 2021 so there’s plenty more to take in on Spotify, or other digital outlets via Subliminal Recordings.

Nyiam and Joel Garden hit nothing but net on “Big Leagues.” Nyiam goes hard in the paint as he recounts the transition from basketball athlete to flawless emcee with clever references to Karl Malone, Vince Carter, Jason Kidd and Percy Miller over a hypnotic jazz loop supplied by Garden. From tip off to the final whistle, the dynamic duo is guaranteed to have you sitting on the edge of your seat—the ball is in your court and it’s game time. For more from Nyiam, follow him on Instagram and Twitter.
