This is the story about the Brampton Boomer Bandits and their successfully failed electronics heist of 2019. The group robbed a delivery truck and made off with millions of dollars worth of phones and tablets, but their road to riches was blocked by modern technology.
What made the heists especially news worthy was one of the men arrested was 75 years old. Charges laid against six people in total included robbery, robbery with a firearm, and kidnapping.
