Following the success of songs like “Old Ways” and “Burn,” budding Toronto rapper and singer Swavy has officially dropped his highly-anticipated debut mixtape, Different Breed.
Swavy included with just one official guest appearance on the 18-song release with Louisville, Kentucky star Vory featuring on “Fallback Queen,” , and Toronto Rapstars reported on the PartyNextDoor vocals included on “Side Eye.”
Swavy made several comments about the tape on social media including, “if you ready A lot of sleepless nights to give y’all a full body of work. S/o everyone who played a part in the process.”
He also dropped the project’s track listing artwork with a breakdown of how the songs all tie together:
“THIS LYFE was different compared to the rest. I chose the BACKSTREETS of life rather than sitting in RUSH HOUR traffic like the rest. I ain’t like my OLD WAYS, back then I did the most for BASIC BITCHES, where now I’m focused on my career TAKING FLIGHT. I’d TAKE ADVICE from wrong ones and seen plenty act OUT OF LINE, I watched friendships BURN, I watched potential wives turn to a FALLBACK QUEEN.
