From Barbados to Scarborough, Toronto, BOYFRN continues to sharpen his sound and broaden his musical abilities through mixing genres from pop, rap, and R&B. His latest release, “Way I Flow,” showcases his lyrical skills as a beacon of hope for those seeking light at the end of a dark tunnel.
“Way I Flow” was officially released on July 8th, 2021 with production by BobbyLove and Jeremy Rose. It also features a dope guest appearance from Toronto’s own DillanPonders, who released his anticipated album Because We’re Alive back in December 2020. The artwork for the single was designed by @ZachWinawi.
BOYFRN took the time to explain that the meaning of the song through a post on Instagram:
“About self acceptance and growth. Finding love for yourself and maintaining it above all else.” You have my love and upmost respect if you ever had to pull yourself out of a place of pain, despair and confusion. I’m well aware of energy and strength require to do so, you are not alone. Never give up, never stop and never give your doubters a day off.”
