Big Sean and Lyrical Lemonade just dropped some fire with their latest collaboration, a slick black-and-white visual for “Yes.” If everything goes as planned, we’ll finally get our hands on Sean’s highly anticipated album Better Me Than You on August 31.
Originally slated for an August 9 release, the project was delayed—some say due to leaks in the community, others believe it’s all about perfecting concert plans. Whatever the reason, the Detroit MC is making sure everything’s on point.
Sean blessed us with another banger last weekend, teaming up with The Alchemist for “Together Forever.” Along with that and “Yes,” he’s up to four teasers along with “Precision” and “On Up.” But if we’re keeping it real, “Yes” is the standout. It’s got that epic, dark instrumental that perfectly matches Sean’s aggressive, no-nonsense vibe. His delivery? Flawless. Sean switches between his signature cool and collected flow to a more animated, hyped-up energy, making “Yes” the track to beat on the album.
“Yes” was directed and edited by Diamond Visuals, with Creative Direction handled by Executive Producer Cole Bennett.
To top it off, the visuals for “Yes” are just as gritty and intense as the track itself. Lyrical Lemonade did their thing, bringing the song’s vibe to life with creative, moody production. Don’t sleep—check out the video and see what Sean’s cooking up for us next.
