Yesterday, Toronto rapper Roney dropped new visuals for his “Back In Blood (Remix).” It’s Roney’s second ‘freestyle’ video since the beginning of March and follows his “Toronto Remix” to “BeatBox” by Florida rapper, SPOTEMGOTTEM.
The original “Back In Blood” was released by budding Memphis star, Pooh Shiesty in Nov. 2020. The YC-produced record features OTF founder Lil Durk, and was the lead single off Shiesty’s mixtape debut, Shiesty Season, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in February.
Roney’s “Back In Blood” freestyle video was shot and edited by Colton Davis, who has a handful of other collaborations with the Regent Park rapper in his portfolio including the “Beatbox (Toronto Remix)” which dropped on March 5. Roney’s latest official release is “Seen It All, Pt. 2,” which was released on New Year’s Day.
