Quavo and Lana Del Rey Team Up With Channel Tres for “Tough” Dance Remix

TLDR: Quavo and Lana Del Rey’s “Tough” gets a remix treatment by Channel Tres, transforming the genre-blending track into a dancefloor-ready anthem.

Quavo and Lana Del Rey’s unexpected collaboration, “Tough,” was already a standout hit when it first dropped in 2024, thanks to its bold fusion of country-trap and moody hip-hop. But now, Channel Tres has stepped in, giving the song a remix that takes the track from late-night bonfire vibes to high-energy club anthem.

In this new remix, Channel Tres, the West Coast-based DJ and producer, swaps the original’s stripped-back melancholy with a pumping four-on-the-floor bassline and hypnotic house grooves. The deep-house-inspired production provides a rich sonic canvas for Quavo’s trademark chopped vocals, which are reworked to glide through the driving beat with ease. Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey’s ethereal voice floats delicately over the track, her melancholy lyrics grounded in this freshly funky arrangement.

Channel Tres’ version of “Tough” is as slick as it is soulful, balancing the signature moodiness of the original with a rhythmic flair designed for late-night sets. It’s the kind of remix that invites listeners to both reflect and dance, putting it in a prime position to dominate DJ rotations across the country.

Since its release, the “Tough” remix has been generating major buzz, amassing millions of views on YouTube and climbing the charts once again, proving that this genre-bending anthem still has plenty of life left on the dancefloor.
