Black Clouds: Peter Jackson enlists Tony Yayo for new single ahead of 24-date Canadian tour

With the Tony Yayo Canadian tour just days away from kicking off in Vancouver, the tour’s main special guest, Peter Jackson, has launched a dope new single featuring the G-Unit rapper.

The xxDannyRose-produced “Black Clouds” is Jackson’s first official release to hit DSPs since his In God’s Hands album dropped back in October. It’s available now Apple Music, Spotify, and various other outlets.

In mid-December, Jackson shared footage of a recent trip he made to NYC to build with Yayo before the tour, and “Black Clouds” was born as a result.

“I recorded this song at Big Fendi’s studio in New Jersey with Tony Yayo,” said Jackson of the collaboration.

“I went out to New York right before Christmas, and actually spent a few days with him. When we were done shooting the video, the two of us drove around New York City and just smoked in the back of the Maybach, and he just literally kicked a lot of knowledge and game to me. He’s really good people and I really enjoyed working with him.”

The Tony Yayo Canadian Tour 2023 is a great opportunity for the two artists to perform the song live, and the tour officially begins in Vancouver this coming Wednesday, Jan. 18 inside the ENSO Event Centre (750 Pacific Blvd).

Yayo’s buzz saw a noticeable resurgence in 2022, capped off by the “Sometimes ” collaboration with Grafh and Sly Paper, and a new gem for classic G-Unit fans, “Rocket Chamber” featuring G-Unit’s punchline king, Lloyd Banks. At the very beginning of 2022, Yayo teamed up with South Side Jamaica, Queens-raised multi-talent, Done Wright, for a couple of tracks including “Rags to Riches” and “Thugs Anniversary.”

Along with Wednesday’s show in Vancouver, there will be 23 other opportunities to see Yayo across Canada between January and February, with the tour wrapping up in Halifax on Feb. 15.
