West Coast rapper Young Kazh is giving fans an early taste of his highly anticipated mixtape Neva Walk Away, set to drop on March 21. Today, Kazh is previewing three tracks on his official website, Kazh.ca, including “Intro – Pain Push Ups,” the DJ Kemo-produced “Real Talk,” and “Uppp.”

With 26 tracks in total, Neva Walk Away is a massive statement from the Sacramento-born emcee, who has been grinding in the game for years. Hosted by Vancouver’s renowned DJs J. Swing and DJ Flipout, the project features an all-star lineup of producers, including DJ Kemo, Checkmate, Chronic Cloud, and Don Cristo. Hip-hop heads familiar with Young Kazh’s journey know that he’s been carving out his lane for years. His relationship with HipHopCanada dates back to 2007, when he was first profiled in an in-depth interview while incarcerated at SeaTac Federal Detention Center in Seattle. Since then, he’s been interviewed by the publication multiple times, steadily building a reputation as a no-nonsense lyricist with raw storytelling ability. Even Fredro Starr of Onyx once called Kazh “the future of real hip-hop” and likened his presence to the legendary 2Pac.

Beyond his solo work, Young Kazh has contributed to some heavy-hitting records over the years. He appeared on Swollen Members’ “Warrior” and “Reclaim The Throne” (alongside Tre Nyce), Merkules’ “Imma G” featuring Method Man and Sticky Fingaz, and his own hit “REMIX THE WORK,” which featured Stitches, Merkules, Madchild, and Hollohan over production from DJ Kemo and hAZEL (aka The Vanguards). Another major highlight in his career was the Hueco Prods-powered “Canadian Ties,” a collaboration with hip-hop giants Mobb Deep, Onyx, Snak The Ripper, JD Era, Merkules and Snowgoons.

With Neva Walk Away just weeks away, these three previewed tracks are setting the stage for what promises to be one of Young Kazh’s most impactful releases yet. Fans can check them out now on Kazh.ca and get ready for the full mixtape drop on March 21.
