Winnipeg’s Frost Gamble announces new collaborative album with Anthony Kannon & release party Oct. 26

Winnipeg-based producer Frost Gamble, originally of Binghamton, NY, has announced a new collaborative album with award-winning NY State rapper Anthony Kannon. Cautionary Tales will drop on October 20 through New Dawn Records.

The beatmaker’s earliest work included productions with Young Bleed, Sadat X, J-Ro, Doc Ice and Tahmell, the son of the legendary Rakim, while in 2013 he contributed to Fresh I.E.’s Red Letterz 13 which duly won Album of the Year at the Canadian Gospel Awards.

In more recent times he is accredited on releases with Tragedy Khadafi, KXNG Crooked, Horseshoe Gang and Craig G while maintaining a prolific level of output with long time sparring partner Tone Chop.

Authentically powerful, the themes of the new album are a compelling narrative of a life less ordinary set to the highest caliber soundtrack. To mark the occasion, the pair have announced two separate launch events beginning on Thursday, October 26 in Winnipeg.

The event will feature live performances by Anthony Kannon and Frost Gamble, plus special guest local artists Kairo & Hoopaloop, Dag & Tek Pro, Serge Paul and DJ Benz.
