Papoose raps about PnB Rock, DJ Kay Slay, loyalty to Remy Ma, hip-hop police & more on new “God Did” freestyle

Check out this new freestyle from legendary NYC lyricist, Papoose. While driving at night, Pap delivers a flawless verse without skipping a beat, really emphasizing his raw talent as a rapper. The “God Did (Freestyle)” is chock-full of big references including the deaths of PnB Rock and Queen Elizabeth II, certain people not attending the funeral of Pap’s mentor and friend, DJ Kay Slay, staying loyal to his wife Remy Ma while she was incarcerated, and more. He also mentions the fact that he released a massive 12 albums in 2021, one for each month of the year. If you’re just getting familiar with Papoose… that’s a great place to start. And then head over to the super-classics like “Alphabetical Slaughter” or his Smack DVD freestyle. Just a couple of weeks ago, Pap was featured on a massive collaboration released by London, UK’s Big Narstie which also features megastar Ed Sheeran. “Groundwork” has already been viewed over a million times since premiering on Sept. 1.
