Earlier this year, YouTuber Trapologist dropped an interesting video looking at “15 Rappers Who Got CHECKED By Rap Legends.”
The video touches on a large range of artists and situations, some more well publicized than others. The list includes: T.I. telling Yung Joc that his marriage isn’t any of his business, Bow Wow disrespecting Cassie and then getting confronted by T.I., tension between Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy during their Verzuz battle, 50 Cent pushing former G-Unit artist Trav while on stage, Jay-Z confronting Offset, King Yella getting checked by Offset for lyrics about Cardi B, Drake humiliating YK Osiris, for owing him money, and more.
Trapologist has some other videos with a similar theme including “When Gangster Rappers Humble Entitled Rappers,” “15 Rappers Who FLIPPED Out on Fans,” and “15 Rap Legends Who CHECKED Interviewers.” The channel has been posting similar videos for quite some time, with “7 Rappers Who Got CHECKED BY GOONS!” being the most popular to date with over seven million YouTube views.
