Coming ahead of his new project, Toronto legend Tona is back with the new Y-Not-produced banger, “Fame.”
It’s the fourth official single off Tona’s H.O.T.C. (Henny On The Congregation) album, available on all platforms in the near future. It will be his second project of 2024, with the Sun Is Out EP (with Sayzee) dropping back in April.
Tona’s most recent single was The Legend Adam Bomb-assisted, “3 Words,” which was also produced by Y-Not, and released with a video powered by Tona and Sonny Visual. Prior to that, the Asun Eastwood and Rvlr Magz-assisted “25 Bricks” was released, along with the EverythingOShauN-assisted “Champions.”
Less than a month ago, Tona dropped another track which appears to be unrelated to H.O.T.C.. The Memorecks-produced “Pianos” was labelled as a “Random loosey” when posted to Tona’s Bandcamp profile on Aug. 10, 2024. You can find that below along with “Fame.”
About Tona
Not your average master of ceremony or MC, Tona, armed with an in depth understanding of the power and the complexity of words, and a love of Hip hop, has developed his own creative niche through aboriginal and versatile demonstrations in an era where the true art of Hip hop seems to have been lost.
