With the new Kendrick Lamar album expected to drop this Friday, May 13, the West Coast star let off a new single and video yesterday which has fueled anticipation. “The Heart Part 5” is currently in the #1 spot on YouTube’s Trending For Music chart, with already over with 6.7 million views. “The visuals see Kendrick performing in front of a red wall before making several transformations into other famous Black figures using deepfake technology. In order of appearance, they are O.J. Simpson, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle.” – Genius
