Victoria artist Reflectionz kicked off his 2021 campaign with the release of his new single, “The Anthem.” A few days ago, the song received visual support, created in collaboration with Capital Wave Entertainment.
The Chef-produced track is available for streaming on various digital streaming platforms including Spotify via Ref Records. The track is also expected to appear on Ref’s next project, Knight Ryder, slated to drop April 10, 2021.

Victoria’s Reflectionz unveils new single “The Anthem” in anticipation of his second LP
Seasoned, unapologetic and original, “The Anthem” is a blend of classy lyricism and soulful melody that strikes the right balance to draw the listener in. The percussive instrumentation starts with Ref on the acoustic guitar and builds with drums, keys, horns and production arranged by Chef, one of Victoria’s most talented and accomplished producers. The combination is on time and refreshing as Reflectionz carves out a niche for himself that places him firmly in his own lane.
The lyrics emit an inspirational and revolutionary quality; to align with ones highest potential as a solution to the struggles in life, rather than run from the greatness that resides within each one of us. As the chorus rings out, one is reminded to be resilient and to put in the work to build their best life.
The release of “The Anthem” follows Ref’s 2019 debut album, Reflectionz You Knighted, which solidified him as a staple hip-hop presence on the West Coast. Features from Fresno, California legend Planet Asia, as well as global talents such as June Marx, Emotionz and Eliza Smith, made the album a standout success as it payed homage to the roots of hip-hop and to earning the rights to represent it.
Ref is definitely an artist to have on your radar for 2021 as he gears up to expand the reach of his music and brand.
