West Coast rap star Jayceon Taylor, better known as The Game, will be reaching Canada early 2019 for a tour that will bring him through eight Canadian provinces, taking him from coast-to-coast.
The Game Canadian Tour 2019 kicks off in Vancouver on Saturday, Jan. 12 inside the Harbour Convention Centre, and wraps up on Tuesday, Jan. 29 inside St. John’s, Newfoundland’s The C.L.B. Armoury (established in 1892!).
With 14-dates in total, each event is set to feature different local artists as openers. HipHopCanada will be covering the Mississauga show which takes places on Tuesday, Jan. 22 inside Twenty7 (6380 Northwest Dr.) with special guest Peter Jackson of 9-0-Nickel Entertainment. Other artists on the bill include Safiya Jin and Boland, with additional music provided by Peter Jackson’s tour DJ, DJ Young Legend.
Please note: The venue for the Mississauga show was recently changed to Twenty7. All tickets will be honored at the new venue, and online tickets with the new venue location will be reissued through SkipTheBoxOffice.ca for all ticket holders by this weekend.

The Game will be touring in support of his ninth (and possibly last) studio album, Westside Story (not to be confused with his 2004 mixtape of the same name). Back in August, he released a new single called “DTF” which features YG, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jeremih over Bongo ByTheWay production. As per XXL: “The Compton rapper has been quietly putting in work on the new project, previously teasing collaborations with Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar.”
Update – 12/10/2018 10 p.m. – The Game has announced that the scheduled Edmonton, Alberta date for Wednesday, Jan. 16 is going to be cancelled unless they can find a new venue. Click here for more information.
