Whether you’re a fan or not, there’s no denying that Toronto recording artist Pressa has become of the most talked about Canadian hip-hop rappers across social media. Along with making all kinds of news headlines—most music related, some not—Pressa has racked up several accolades including multiple Platinum certifications.
The BFR rapper’s latest achievement is earning four nominations at the upcoming 2022 JUNO Awards going down in May.Pressa is nominated for TikTok JUNO Fan Choice, Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Rap Album/EP of the Year for Gardner Express (Deluxe), and Rap Single of the Year for the Taliban Glizzy-assisted “Attachments.”
The full list of 2022 JUNO nominees was revealed on Tuesday at an event hosted by CBC Music’s Angeline Tetteh-Wayoe.
The 2022 JUNO Awards will take place Sunday, May 15 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junos.
