Budding Louisiana artist Lil Huncho recently returned with fresh visuals for his single, “Paper Cut.”
Produced by Toronto’s DJ Andre 905 and Huncho’s main in-house producer Rott, “Paper Cut” does a great job showcasing Huncho’s eclectic style and signature delivery, laced with deep introspection that reveals pain, stress, love, success and more.
Toronto’s DJ Andre 905 provided a breakdown of how the collaboration came to be:
“I was talking to Lil Huncho’s manager – Best Kept Secret who manages a host of producers and artists about working on a new single. He presented the idea of working with Lil Huncho. He sent me a few unreleased records and I was sold. I was connected with Huncho’s main in-house producer named Rott. I sent Rott a few melody loops and Rott made a couple beats. We sent them over to Huncho and the rest is history. He made ‘Paper Cut’ which is co-produced by Rott and myself. With this record, I wanted to appeal to the fans of mine that love trap/down south music.”
The accompanying video for “Paper Cut” was directed by Donny Kashh, and has brought in more than 15K views on YouTube since its premiere.
