It seemed inevitable, but music mogul Diddy has now been arrested in Manhattan following a grand jury indictment.
As per the Law&Crime Network: “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was reportedly taken into federal custody in Manhattan on Monday night. The famed music mogul’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided in March in connection with a trafficking investigation. Combs is expected to be arraigned in federal court Tuesday morning. News of Diddy being arrested has made waves across social media, with many people saying it was overdue and well-deserved. Footage of him assaulting Cassie Ventura came out in May and the accusations Diddy is facing came out long before that.
Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo issued a statement after the arrest: “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.”
